It creates a "virtual" Webcam that replicates your currently installed camera. It then lets multiple applications access the video stream without conflict.
ManyCam is compatible with Yahoo, MSN, CamFrog, PalTalk, ICQ, Skype, YouTube, and much more. Once installed ManyCam, you will need to set it as the default program that accesses your camera.
ManyCam will automatically start when you activate the Webcam via your chat program. The application includes various of gimmicky features:
- Use your webcam with multiple programs simultaneously.
- Add text to your webcam video window with any application.
- Add cool animations to your video window.
- Show your local day and date in your video window.

After downloading and installing Skype, you may immediately call other Skype users for free or use their pay Call-to-Phone system to call phones directly over VoIP.
One note that may be of use to OldVersion.com visitors is that if you are looking to download Skype to call phones within the US (and you yourself live in the US), Google Voice allows you to do so free of charge.
Skype 2.5 is the earliest version that functions. Versions prior to 2.5 do not install (tested on Windows 7).
If you wish to use the video-calling feature, OldVersion.com recommends using version 4.0+ of Skype.

Commenting, underlining, stamping, attaching files and creating text boxes are all easily done, and can be modified and removed in the click of a button.
There are also tooltips, so you know what you are doing before you click. This feature is very welcome, as the PDF-XChange Viewer help is not very good. Additional cool features include a snapshot tool, document preview when opening PDFs and a huge range of interface language options.
